When Jesus had received the vinegar, he said: “It is finished”.
And bowing his head, he gave up the Spirit.
John 19.30
It is finished.
It is not an end. It is a revelation.
It Is.
Now.
Here.
Time dissolves, it does not exist, it is the truth of the instant.
History is gathered into a single point, into the bindu.
The Word returns to Silence. The Word is Silence, Presence and Light.
The arms open on the cross, mudra of infinite expansion:
the embrace that contains all the worlds,
the total surrender to the Mystery that Is.
Nothing is lacking. Nothing is superfluous.
All has been fulfilled in the eternity of the instant.
The Father is not a place one arrives at, nor an impersonal concept, but the Presence recognised in the now.
And in that recognition…
all ceases,
all rests,
all Is.
It simply Is.
Death does not exist. There is only life and more Life.
So be it.
It is finished.
Happy Good Friday.
